Matthias Moles was born circa 1831 at Raleigh County, Virginia. He married Ginsey Stover, daughter of Jacob Stover and Olive Dixon, on Sunday, 25 June 1854. Matthias Moles died on 6 August 1862 at Virginia. Died due to wounds suffered in the Battle of Shiloh in the Civil War.
