ROSE, HAZEL JUNE - age 84 of Monroe Road, Maynardville, born June 1, 1916 went home to be with Jesus 11:10 p.m. Thursday, June 22, 2000 at the home of her niece, Maude and J. D. Chesney. She was a member of Sugar Grove Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Frank and Maude (Liford) Rose; brothers, Jim, Ted. Clead and Hillard Rose.
Survivors: nieces and nephews, Linda and Douglas Myers, Maude and J. D. Chesney, all of Maynardville, Arizona and Chuck Lynch, Frank Rose, all of Tazewell, R. Funeral services 8:00 p.m. Saturday, Cooke Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Jerry Glenn Crawford officiating with music by the Nicley Family. Interment 11:00 a.m. Sunday, Campbell Cemetery, Claiborne County. Pallbearers: Doug Myers, Clyde Huey, J. D. Chesney, Josh Chesney, Mike Hundley, Dougie Myers, Jr. The family will receive friends 6 - 8 p.m. Saturday, Cooke Mortuary, Maynardville.
