George VanBeber was born on 27 February 1823 at Claiborne County, Tennessee.1 He was the son of Isaac Hoover VanBebber and Hannah Long.1 George VanBeber married, at age 21, Mary Elizabeth Tinsley, age 16 on Tuesday, 10 December 1844. George VanBeber died on 7 September 1908 at Bell County, Kentucky, at age 85 years, 6 months and 11 days.

WILL OF GEORGE VANBEVER, SR.
Realizing the fact that life is uncertain and death is certain I George Vanbever, Sr. being of sound mind & disposing memory do make this my last will and Testament hereby revoking all other Wills, Testaments and Codicils.
First: I desire and so will that my beloved wife Mary Vanbevers shall have all of the household and Kitchen furniture.
Second: I desire that my executor hereinafter named shall sell all of my real estate and after Converting same into money shall distribute same as herein after directed.
Third: I desire and will that James Vanbevers shall have in addition to the other provisions of this will: one lot in Middlesboro, Kentucky, to wit: Lot 23 B21 - S.E.
Fourth: I desire that my executor shall Collect all debts, Judgments, Notes and now owing to me and after paying my funeral expenses and all other Just debts, shall divide the remainder as follows:
I will that my beloved wife Mary Vanbever shall receive One half of all My estate that the remainder be Equally divided among all my children if they be living at my death and if any of them are dead that the amounts of their shares shall be Equally divided among their Children: except as shall be hereinafter set out.
My sons and daughters to wit: William Vanbevers, America King (wife of Sam King) Bob Vanbevers and John Vanbevers, All of whom are now dead I desire that the share due each of them shall be equally divided between their children, and I desire that my sons and daughter George Vanbevers, Jr. Mrs. Mary Howard (wife of J.E. Howard) and James Vanbevers shall share equally as above set out except James Vanbevers to whom I desire paid two Hundred Dollars ($200) I desire that this amount shall be paid to him in addition to amount allotted to him in above.
Robert Vanbevers of Pineville, Kentucky shall act as my executor and I hereby appoint him as my executor -

I, Henry Braughton, Clerk of the County Court within and for the County and state aforesaid, certify that the fore going Instrument of writing purporting to be the last will and testament of George Vanbevers, Sr, Deceased which was filed in open court on 14th day of September 1903 for probate and the same having lain over the time required by law for exceptions and none being filed the same is now duly probated and ordered recorded, whereupon the same with this certificate have been duly recorded in Will Book No 1 Page 142 & 3 -
