Elsie Jane Dixon was born on 5 April 1828 at Butler County, Ohio.1 She was the daughter of Henry Dixon and Mary Massey. Elsie Jane Dixon married, at age 15, Zachariah P. D. Clem, age 22, son of [—?—] Clem, on Sunday, 23 April 1843 at Warren County, Indiana.2,1 Elsie Jane Dixon died on 10 October 1894 at Warren County, Indiana, at age 66 years, 6 months and 5 days.1 She was buried in the Upper Mound Cemetery, located in Warren County, Indiana.1
