Helen P. Hocker

     Helen P. Hocker was born on 28 May 1913 at Loyalsockville, Upper Fairfield Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 She married, at age 19, Clarence M. Fink, age 20, son of Chester Franklin Fink and Mary Mabel Updegraff, on Monday, 20 June 1932. Helen P. Hocker died on 21 January 2000 at Valley View Nursing Center, Montoursville, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 86 years, 7 months and 24 days.1
     Her obituary was published on 22 January 2000 in the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Her obituary stated:

     Helen H. Fink, 86, of 18 Lumber Lane died Friday, Jan. 21, 2000, at Valley View Nursing Home, where she had been a resident since Dec. 3.

     She and her husband, Clarence M. Fink, owned and operated the former Fink’s Bakery in Loyalsockville and Picture Rocks. He died in 1972.

     She was a graduate of Montoursville High School. She was a member of the former Loyalsockville United Methodist Church and on the board of administration for more than 58 years. She was a member of Warrensville United Methodist Church.

     Born May 28, 1913, in Loyalsockville, she was a daughter of George R. and Rosa Delker Hocker.

     Surviving are a son, John M. of Montoursville; a sister, Dene Beule of Beaver Dam, Wis; and a grandson.

     The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Spitler’s, 733 Broad St., Montoursville, with the Rev. Connie A. Waugh, her pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Montoursville Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday.1
