Joseph William Bogan was born on 9 August 1874 at Crestline, Crawford County, Ohio.1 He was the son of William Lemon Bogan and Mary Louise Price. Joseph William Bogan married, at age 25, Bertha M. Wagner, daughter of Joseph B. Wagner and Rebecca Koch, on Thursday, 14 December 1899.1 Joseph William Bogan died on 24 December 1964 at Mansfield, Richland County, Ohio, at age 90 years, 4 months and 15 days.1 He was buried in the Oakwood Cemetery, located in Bucyrus, Crawford County, Ohio.
