Paul Melvin Kiess

     Paul Melvin Kiess was born on 15 August 1917 at Bucyrus, Crawford County, Ohio. He was the son of Samuel Wesley Kiess and Ruby Mauriel Henderson. Paul Melvin Kiess married, at age 24, Evelyn Gayle Lea, age 20 on Sunday, 21 December 1941. Paul Melvin Kiess died on 13 August 1988 at Westerville, Franklin County, Ohio, at age 70 years, 11 months and 29 days.
     He appeared on the census of 23 April 1930 in the household of William Jacob Guinther and Ruby Mauriel Henderson at Tully Township, Marion County, Ohio. Paul Melvin Kiess appeared on the census of 26 April 1940 in the household of Ruby Mauriel Henderson at Whetstone Township, Crawford County, Ohio. He became a widower at the age of 70 with the death of Evelyn on 21 August 1987.
