Rachel Koch was born on 1 May 1844 at Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1,3 She was the daughter of George Koch and Rebecca [—?—].1,3 Rachel Koch married, at age 32, Jonathan H. Kiess, age 36, son of Abraham Kiess and Catharina Waltz, on Tuesday, 5 December 1876 at Crawford County, Ohio.1,2,3 Rachel Koch died on 11 January 1907 at age 62 years, 8 months and 10 days.3 She was buried in row 10, stone 49, in the Salem Cemetery, located in North Robinson, Crawford County, Ohio.3
