Melvin E. Person was born on 4 June 1909. He married, at age 23, Alice Miriam Kyle, age 24, daughter of Lorin F. Kyle and Kathryn Yoxtheimer, on Friday, 12 August 1932. Melvin E. Person died on 22 February 2000 at age 90 years, 8 months and 18 days. He was buried in the Twin Hills Memorial Park, located in Fairfield Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
