Mrs. Rebecca Vanbibber, wife of Jefferson Vanbibber died near Marthasville, Sunday Dec. 11 aged 35 years of consumption. Mrs. Vanbibber was born in Illinois February 27, 1863. When 23 years of age she joined hands for the matrimonial life with Mr. Jefferson Vanbibber. To this union 3 children were born, but only one, Price, a boy of about 7 years survives, the others having gone to yonder world when quite small. One year ago she took sick and it was soon known that she was suffering with that dreadful sickness-consumption. For about six months she was confined to bed suffering great agony and pain from which she is now relieved. Monday morning appropriate services were held at the residence of the deceased and then the earthly remains were laid to rest in the Mt. Airy cemetery three miles south of Wright City. Rev. Frankenfield of Marthasville conducted the services.
