     Allen L. Chaapel was born on 31 March 1924. He was the son of William Jennings Bryon Chaapel and Margaret Ellen Wheeland. Allen L. Chaapel married, at age 21, Mary Hall, daughter of Ellis William Hall and Marian Spring, on Saturday, 6 October 1945 at Warrensville Evangelical United Brethren Church, Warrensville, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, by the Reverend George Miller.1 Allen L. Chaapel died on 10 November 1994 at age 70 years, 7 months and 9 days.
