Dorothy Kiess was born on 10 July 1808 at Warrensville, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 She was the daughter of Johann George Kiess and Dorothea Ulmer. Dorothy Kiess married Joseph Ehman circa 1832.2 Dorothy Kiess died in 1892 at age 83 years.2
