     David Ulmer was born on 29 December 1813 at Blooming Grove, Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Leonhard Ulmer and Rosina Weinman. David Ulmer married Sophia Marquardt, daughter of Nickolas Stephen Marquardt and Sophia Hartmeier.1 David Ulmer died on 4 September 1888 at Blooming Grove, Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 74 years, 8 months and 6 days. He was buried in the Blooming Grove Cemetery, located in Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
