Herman Scipio Livingston was born on 11 November 1900 at Wathena, Doniphan County, Kansas. He was the son of Scipo Livingston and Almina Josephine Zornes. Herman Scipio Livingston married Rose Helen Liechti, daughter of Johannes William Liechti and Eva Matilda Cowger, circa 1930. Herman Scipio Livingston died on 15 August 1967 at Doniphan County, Kansas, at age 66 years, 9 months and 4 days. He was buried in the Bellemont Cemetery, located in Wathena, Doniphan County, Kansas.
