     Alice Amanda Clapp was born in 1847 at Muncy, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 She was the daughter of Daniel Clapp and Catherine Lucy Updegraff. Alice Amanda Clapp married John Artley Beeber, age 25, son of Teter Dimm Beeber and Mary Jane Artley, on Tuesday, 21 June 1870.2,1 Alice Amanda Clapp died in 1902 at age 55 years.1
