Christina Foltz

     Christina Foltz was born on 10 December 1852. She was the daughter of Frederick Foltz and Rosanna Goodecuntz. Christina Foltz married John Ulmer, son of Jakob Ulmer and Elisabeth Ulmer, in 1870. Christina Foltz died on 1 October 1940 at Cogan Station, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 87 years, 9 months and 21 days.1 She was buried in the State Road United Methodist Church Cemetery, located in Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1

     COGAN STATION - Mrs. Christine Ulmer, 87, died at 6 p.m. Tuesday, October 1, 1940, at the home of her son Clyde Ulmer, Cogan Station R.D. 2, following an illness of two weeks.

     Surviving are the following children: David E. Ulmer and Mrs. P. A. Stabler, Salladasburg R.D., J. E. Ulmer, Westfield, NJ; Mrs. J. L. Lovell, Linden, and Mrs. C. R. Richmond, Quakertown.

     Mrs. Ulmer was a life-long resident of this area. She was a member of the Salladasburg Evangelical Church.
