John Heister

John Heister was born on 9 April 1745 at Berks County, Province of Pennsylvania, America. He married Hannah Pawling, daughter of John Pawling and Elizabeth DeHaven, circa 1769. John Heister died on 15 October 1821 at Chester County, Pennsylvania, at age 76 years, 6 months and 6 days.
John was Colonel during the Revolutionary War and was promoted to Major-General after the war, represented Chester County in the State Senate 1802 - 1806, and was a member of Congress, 1807 - 1809.
