Frances Ann Hudnall1

Frances Ann Hudnall was born on 11 April 1835 at Bedford County, Virginia.1 She was the daughter of Samuel Hudnall and Julia Ann Hewitt. Frances Ann Hudnall married, at age 17, Isaac VanBibber Estill, age 28, son of James Estill and Matilda VanBibber, on Thursday, 9 September 1852 at Montgomery County, Missouri.1 Frances Ann Hudnall died on 27 December 1920 at Tulsa, Tulsa County, Oklahoma, at age 85 years, 8 months and 16 days.1 She was buried on 29 December 1920 in the Masonic Cemetery, located in Tipton, Montgomery County, Missouri.

MRS. F. A. ESTILL
Frances Ann Hudnall, daughter of Julia Ann Hewitt and Samuel Hudnall, was born in Bedford county, Virginia, April 11, 1835, and died in Tulsa, Okla., December 27, 1920, being at the time of her death 85 years, 9 months and 16 days old.
Mrs. Estill was the oldest of five children, and at the age of 2 years came to Missouri with her father, mother, brothers and sisters and settled on Loutre, about three miles northwest of Mineola.
On September 9, 1852, she was married to Isaac VanBibber Estill, the great, great grandson of Daniel Boone, and with whom she lived happily till his death November 19, 1895. To this union was born twelve children, five having preceded her to the grave, viz.: Eudora, Augusta, Joshua, Edna and Lela. She leaves to mourn her loss, one sister, three daughters and four sons, sixteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. The surviving children are Mrs. Jno. N. Worland of Montgomery City, Mo., Charles W. Estill of Martinsburg, Mo; Samuel J. Estill, of Colorado Springs, Colo; Mrs. Harry Campbell, of Tulsa, Okla; Mrs. Thos. Gardner, of Oakland, Calif; Anthony Estill, of Taft, Calif; and Jesse M. Estill, of Bartle, Calif. Her sister is Mrs. Kittie Hoffman of Fulton, Mo., and the only surviving member of her family.
In 1869 Mrs. Estill united with the Mt. Horeb Baptist church in Callaway county and was baptized by Rev. Bibb. In 1883 Mr. and Mrs. Estill moved to Westport where they resided nine years, and then moved to Tipton, Mo., where they lived till Mr. Estill's death. In 1906 Mrs. Estill's youngest daughter, Lela, passed away and in 1913 Mrs. Estill came to Montgomery City and made her home with her oldest daughter, Mrs. John N. Worland.
Last October she went to Tulsa to spend the winter with Mrs. Harry Campbell and had not been in good health since her arrival there. Her death came quite suddenly.
Burial took place in Tipton, Mo., Dec. 29, where she was laid to rest in the Masonic cemetery by the side of her husband and daughter, Lela.
