John Melvin VanBebber

     John Melvin VanBebber was born on 25 October 1819 at Speedwell, Claiborne County, Tennessee.¹ He was the son of Isaac VanBebber and Mary Martin.¹ John Melvin VanBebber first married, at age 23, Minerva Jane Kincaid, age 18, daughter of William Harrison Kincaid and Susan Wilson, on Wednesday, 12 April 1843 at Claiborne County, Tennessee.^2,1 John Melvin VanBebber married a second time, at age 36, Nancy Elizabeth Beeler, daughter of Adam Beeler and Susan Bowman, on Tuesday, 19 August 1856 at Claiborne County, Tennessee. John Melvin VanBebber died on 11 March 1865 at Goin, Claiborne County, Tennessee, at age 45 years, 4 months and 14 days.¹
