     China Minerva Owens was born on 27 April 1837 at Illinois. She was the daughter of James G. Owens and Hannah VanBibber. China Minerva Owens married, at age 20, James A. Walker on Monday, 4 January 1858. China Minerva Owens died on 7 March 1913 at age 75 years, 10 months and 8 days. She was buried in the Scottville West Cemetery, located in Scottville, Macoupin County, Illinois.
