     Charles William Grow was born on 14 July 1883 at Gallipolis, Gallia County, Ohio.1 He was the son of George Lyman Grow and Lovie A. Ward.1 Charles William Grow married, at age 23, Alice Irene Ranshaw, age 18, daughter of William Henry Ranshaw and Sarah Elizabeth Catton, on Wednesday, 10 July 1907 at Covington, Kenton County, Kentucky.1 Charles William Grow died on 17 May 1969 at Kenton County, Kentucky, at age 85 years, 10 months and 3 days.
     He became a widower at the age of 67 with the death of Alice on 21 June 1951.
