     John Roe Kiefer was born on 30 October 1895 at Harrison, Hamilton County, Ohio.1 He was the son of Edward Arthur Kiefer and Jennie Mary Grow.1 John Roe Kiefer married, at age 22, Marie E. Werning, age 18, daughter of George Werning and Elizabeth Eifert, on Sunday, 23 December 1917 at Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio.1 John Roe Kiefer died on 19 May 1953 at Pinellas County, Florida, at age 57 years, 6 months and 19 days.1
