     Gertrude Higgins was born in 1883 at West Virginia. She was the daughter of John J. Higgins and Mary Ida Sims. Gertrude Higgins married Arthur Lewis Kenna, son of John Edward Kenna and Anna Benninghaus, circa 1905. Gertrude Higgins died on 30 January 1968 at Kanawha County, West Virginia, at age 85 years.
