Nada Mae VanBebber was born on 1 December 1896 at Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri.1 She was the daughter of George Alfred VanBebber and Emma J. Eads.1 Nada Mae VanBebber married Olin Aubrey Laurance in 1915.1 Nada Mae VanBebber died on 27 January 2004 at La Mirada, Los Angeles County, California, at age 107 years, 1 month and 26 days.1
Her obituary was published on 18 February 2004 in the The News-Review, printed in Roseburg, Douglas County, Oregon. Her obituary stated:
LAURANCE, Nada Mae, Age 107, passed away on January 27, 2004, in LaMiranda, California. She was born in Kansas City, Missouri, on December 1, 1896, to parents, George and Emma VanBebber. At the age of eighteen, she married Plin Aubrey Laurance in Roseburg, Oregon. To this union were born three children, Ken; Gwen and Plin Aubrey II. They were avid farmers and owned and operated their own truck gardening business. She is survived by two sons, Ken Laurance of Myrtle Creek, Oregon; Plin Laurance of Yuma, Arizona; grandchildren, Maureen Atkinson; Pat and Mike McKinney, all of California; Tom Laurance of Newport Beach; Craig Laurance of San Ramon, California; and Christine Schrock of Myrtle Creek. Preceding her in death were her husband, Plin; a daughter, Gweneth; grandsons, Michael Laurance of San Francisco, California; and most recently, Plin Arlin Laurance of Myrtle Creek on February 12, 2003. Also preceding her in death were two great-grandchildren, Lori Ann Laurance of Beverly Hills, California and Joshua Jonathon Schrock of Myrtle Creek. Graveside services were held at the Rosehill Cemetery in Whittier, California.
