Marjorie Belle Kincaid was born on 23 February 1921. She was the daughter of John Henry Kincaid and Cora Campbell. Marjorie Belle Kincaid died on 19 August 2010 at age 89 years, 5 months and 27 days.
Her obituary was published on 20 August 2010 in the Daily News, printed in Richmond, Ray County, Missouri. Her obituary stated:
Marjorie Bell Brunson, 89, of Independence, died at 10:32 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 19, 2010, at the Newmark Care Center in Nashua, Mo.
Marjorie was born Feb. 23, 1921 in Knoxville, the daughter of John Henry and Cora Bell (Campbell) Kincaid. She married Larry McCulley of Kansas City, Kan., on March 13, 1943; he preceded her in death Jan. 18, 1965. She married Wayne W. Brunson of Independence, on May 21, 1966; he preceded her in death on March 25, 2005.
Marjorie was an inspector for Western Electric before retiring in 1983. She also worked at Brunson Instrument Company for several years. She graduated from Polo High School in 1939. Marjorie lived most of her life in Independence. She was of the Christian faith.
Survivors include: several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husbands she was preceded in death by three brothers, Dorris Kincaid, Joseph J. Kincaid and John H. Kincaid; and five sisters, Florence VanBebber, Flossie A. Basham, Mary C. Risley, Helen F. Wollard and Julia Mae Russell.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association or the National Kidney Foundation.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 24, at Thurman Funeral Home, Richmond. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sunny Slope Cemetery, Richmond. Arrangements are under the direction of Thurman Funeral Home, Richmond.
