Charles Wesley Preast was born on 28 April 1836 at Campbell County, Virginia.1 He was the son of Peter Preast. Charles Wesley Preast married, at age 29, Reuhama Ann Keenan, age 16, daughter of William Van Keenan and Electra Caroline Grose, on Tuesday, 13 February 1866.1 Charles Wesley Preast died on 24 March 1926 at Grant Township, Nicholas County, West Virginia, at age 89 years, 10 months and 24 days.1 He was buried in the Keenan Cemetery, located in Nicholas County, West Virginia.
