     James Henry Keenan was born on 7 March 1885 at Nicholas County, West Virginia. He was the son of Thomas P. Keenan and Lucy Margaret Painter. James Henry Keenan died on 4 May 1963 at Drennen, Nicholas County, West Virginia, at age 78 years, 1 month and 27 days.1 He was buried on 6 May 1963 in the Keenan Cemetery, located in Nicholas County, West Virginia.1
     He was Miner.
