Thomas H. Yoakum was born on 13 June 1813 at Claiborne County, Tennessee.1 He was the son of Isaac Yoakum and Mary Davis. Thomas H. Yoakum first married, at age 19, Lucinda Carr, age 18 on Saturday, 15 December 1832. Thomas H. Yoakum married a second time, at age 46, Mary Ann Mitchell, age 26 on Saturday, 1 October 1859. Thomas H. Yoakum died on 23 June 1890 at age 77 years and 10 days.1 He was buried in the Yoakum Chapel Cemetery, located in Claiborne County, Tennessee.1
