Grace Evelyn Dovel

     Grace Evelyn Dovel was born on 4 August 1906 at Stanley, Page County, Virginia. She was the daughter of James Clark Dovel and Myrtle Mae Stoneberger. Grace Evelyn Dovel first married, at age 17, Harve Glen Cobb, age 24, son of Rufus Rowland Cobb and Martha Olivia Stephens, on Friday, 4 April 1924 at Arapaho, Custer County, Oklahoma. Grace Evelyn Dovel married a second time Raymond Otto Knauf in 1942. Grace Evelyn Dovel died on 6 November 1994 at Saint Joseph, Buchanan County, Missouri, at age 88 years, 3 months and 2 days. She was buried on 9 November 1994 in the Savannah Cemetery, located in Savannah, Andrew County, Missouri.
     She was widowed at age 33 by the death of Harve on 15 December 1939.
