     Martha Aurelia Yoakum was born on 9 October 1827 at Madisonville, Monroe County, Tennessee. She was the daughter of George Yoakum and Mary Ann Maddy. Martha Aurelia Yoakum married, at age 20, James Askew Wright on Thursday, 25 May 1848. Martha Aurelia Yoakum died on 19 August 1852 at Sweetwater, Monroe County, Tennessee, at age 24 years, 10 months and 10 days. She was buried in the Methodist Cemetery, located in Madisonville, Monroe County, Tennessee.
