     Alfred Hosman was born on 20 August 1810 at Loudon County, Virginia. He married, at age 30, Mary C. Boone, age 19, daughter of Nathan Boone and Olive VanBibber, on Friday, 23 April 1841 at Greene County, Missouri.1 Alfred Hosman died on 28 March 1890 at Missouri at age 79 years, 7 months and 8 days. He was buried in the Ash Grove Cemetery, located in Ash Grove, Greene County, Missouri.
