Peter VanBibber

M, (25 May 1695 - 6 April 1769)
     Peter VanBibber was born on 25 May 1695 at Germantown, Philadelphia County, Province of Pennsylvania, America. He was the son of Isaac Jacobs VanBibber and Frances Schumacher. Peter VanBibber married Anna Gooding in 1723. Peter VanBibber died on 6 April 1769 at Cecil County, Maryland Colony, America, at age 73 years, 10 months and 12 days.
     He Peter Van Bibber, son of Isaac Jacob, was born in Germantown, Pennsylvania and died in St. Stephen's Parish in Cecil County, Maryland. His wife Anna was born in Pennsylvania and died in Cecil County. Peter's sons, Peter, John, and Isaac, fought in the Battle of Point Pleasant at Point Pleasant, Mason County, Virginia against Indians under the command of Cornstalk. This battle has often been recognized as the first battle of the American Revolution. Isaac died in the battle. John was a Captain and served in Indian wars, Dunmore's War, Colonial wars, and the Revolutionary War. Peter Jr. died in Mason County and John died in Kanawha County, Virginia.

The husband of Peters daughter Brigetta was killed by Indians. Brigetta was taken prisoner.
