Catherine Matilda Metzger was born on 21 December 1870 at Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Daniel Adam Metzger and Mary Roupp. Catherine Matilda Metzger married Henry A. Hetner, son of Daniel Hetner and Catharina Waltz, in 1892. Catherine Matilda Metzger died on 22 May 1929 at age 58 years, 5 months and 1 day. She was buried in the Wildwood Cemetery, located in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
