     Mahala S. Boone was born on 24 September 1826 at Missouri. She was the daughter of Nathan Boone and Olive VanBibber. Mahala S. Boone married, at age 21, Robert Coats Punty, age 27, son of Thomas Punty and Sarah Rives, on Tuesday, 18 January 1848. Mahala S. Boone died on 2 November 1849 at age 23 years, 1 month and 9 days.
     Mahala S. Boone was also known as Mahaley.
