Donn Stanley Claiborne was born on 16 July 1942 at Knoxville, Knox County, Tennessee. He was the son of Andy Russell Claiborne and Miona Hill. Donn Stanley Claiborne died on 4 August 2009 at Jacksboro, Campbell County, Tennessee, at age 67 years and 19 days.

CLAIBORNE, MR. DONN S. - age 67 of LaFollette passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2009, at his home.
He was President and CEO of Claiborne Construction & Supply Co. He was a member of LaFollette United Methodist, member of TN Road Builders Association, Campbell County Masonic Lodge #778, F.&A.M., Rotary Club, Lions Club, former member of Campbell County Chamber of Commerce, a dedicated supporter of Boy Scouts, a pilot, member of the Air Force Reserve & 134th Refueling Group.
Preceded in death by son, Rusty Claiborne and father, Russ Claiborne.
Survivors: daughter, Rebecca Robards and husband, Tommy; son, Donn S. Claiborne, Jr., all of LaFollette; former wife and mother of the children, Victoria Sewell, of Mansfield, GA; mother, Mrs. Miona Claiborne; brother, Steve Claiborne and wife, Scottie all of LaFollette; four grandchildren, Thomas Edward Robards III, Russell Claiborne (Rusty) Robards, Needham McNeeley (Mac) Robards, and Georgia Mavia (Georgia Mae) Robards; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services Saturday 11 A.M. at LaFollette United Methodist Church with Dr. Kenneth Faught officiating. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9 A.M. to 11 A.M. Saturday before services at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Albert Russell (Rusty) Claiborne Memorial Scholarship Fund, 2309 Jacksboro Pike, LaFollette, TN 37766. Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of Mr. Donn S. Claiborne.
