Cecil Millard Bartlett was born on 18 April 1918 at Hardburly, Perry County, Kentucky.1,2 He was the son of Alva Young Bartlett and Emily Cleva Sharp.1,2 Cecil Millard Bartlett married Virgina H. Copher circa 1944.1 Cecil Millard Bartlett died on 10 May 2010 at Middletown, Butler County, Ohio, at age 92 years and 22 days.1,2

BARTLETT, Cecil M. age 92, of Middletown, OH; died Monday May 10, 2010 at the Atrium Medical Center.
Cecil was born in Hardburly, KY to Alva Young and Emily Cleva (Sharp) Bartlett.
He was a graduate of Hazard High School, a veteran of WW II serving in the U. S. Navy, was a founding member of the Franklin Faith Tabernacle where he taught Sunday School, served as Treasurer, was a vocalist singing in the church on many occasions, and was a Kentucky Colonel.
Cecil was formerly employed by the Columbus Mining Co. in Kentucky and Armco Steel retiring in 1983 after 29½ years.
Cecil was preceded in death by his parents Alva Young and Emily Cleva (Sharp) Bartlett, brothers and sisters and their spouses: Clarence (Nina) Bartlett, Ralph (Bertha) Bartlett, Everett (Mae) Bartlett, Eugene Bartlett, and Florine (Claude) Adkins, his first wife Virginia H. (Copher) Bartlett, a son Ronald Dale Bartlett, and a daughter-in-law Carrol Lee Bartlett.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years Juanita Jean (Kincaid) Bartlett; 4 sons Cecil Vernon Bartlett, Thomas W. (Cindy) Bartlett, Larry J. (Jo) Bartlett, and Steven R. (Tammy) Bartlett; 3 daughters Barbara A. (Lynn) Thomas, Marla E. (Michael) Gorman, and Linda D. (Patrick) Goodpaster; a brother Howard (Edna) Bartlett; a sister-in-law Fay Bartlett 18 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, his beloved dog, Suzi Marie, and many other family and friends.
Cecil was a devoted Christian, husband, father, and grandfather. Funeral services are Friday May 14, 2010 at 1pm at Anderson Funeral Home 40 N. Main St Springboro, OH with Rev. Doyle Kincaid and Cecil's children officiating. Burial will be in Woodside Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 5-8pm at the funeral home.
