Albert Willemse Van Kouwenhoven

     Albert Willemse Van Kouwenhoven was born on 7 December 1676 at Flatlands, Kings County, New York Colony, America.1 He was the son of Willem Gerretse Van Kouwenhoven and Jannetie Pieterse Monfoort. Albert Willemse Van Kouwenhoven married, at age 24, Neeltje Roelofse Schenck, age 20, daughter of Roelof Martense Schenck and Annetje Wyckoff, on Sunday, 2 October 1701. Albert Willemse Van Kouwenhoven died on 13 September 1748 at Pleasant Valley, Monmouth County, New Jersey Colony, America, at age 71 years, 9 months and 6 days.1 He was buried on 14 September 1748 in the Schenck-Couwenhoven Cemetery, located in New Jersey Colony, America.1
     He He was a member of the grand jury, Court of Quarter Session held in Freehold, November 1715. Will dated September 6, 1748; probated October 3, 1748; mentions wife Eleanor and eleven children, but not Neeltje whom predeceased him.
