Violet Irene Wolfe1,2

Violet Irene Wolfe was born on 14 February 1919.1 She was the daughter of Oden G. Wolfe and Ora K. Garnhart.3 Violet Irene Wolfe married, at age 25, Kenneth Leslie Paulhamus, age 29, son of Anson Paulhamus and Sarah Alma Williamson, on Tuesday, 23 May 1944.2 Violet Irene Wolfe died on 4 February 2005 at age 85 years, 11 months and 21 days.1,2 She was buried in the Jersey Shore Cemetery, located in Jersey Shore, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2
Her obituary was published on 6 February 2005 in the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Her obituary stated:
Violet I. Paulhamus, 85, formerly of Linn Street Manor, died Feb. 4, 2005, in Sycamore Manor.
Born Feb. 14, 1919, in Jersey Shore, she was the daughter of Oden G. and Ora K. Garnhart Wolfe.
Violet was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church and the Isabel Krebs Sunday School Class. She had been employed as a nurses’ aide at Williamsport Hospital for 26 years.
Surviving are a son, Alan L. Paulhamus of Erie; a daughter, Joyce P. Paulhamus of city; two siblings, Robert Wolfe of Bullhead City, Ariz. and Gladys Brown of South Avis; two grandchildren, Tonya Lauver and James R. Paulhamus, Jr; and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday from Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St. with the Rev. John F. Rauhut officiating. Burial will be in the Jersey Shore Cemetery.
The family will provide the flowers and suggests that memorial contributions be given to St. Paul United Methodist Church, 1427 Memorial Ave., Williamsport.3
