James Harry McKeag was born on 15 August 1915 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 He was the son of Harry L. McKeag and Ida Black. James Harry McKeag married, at age 21, Luella Jane Gouldy, age 20, daughter of James Henry Gouldy and Mary Estella Waltz, on Wednesday, 23 June 1937.2 James Harry McKeag died on 13 March 1985 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 69 years, 6 months and 26 days.1 He was buried on 16 March 1985 in the Buchanan Baptist Church Cemetery, located in Old Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.

James Harry McKeag, 69, of Williamsport RD 1, died at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, 1985, at his home following a lengthy illness.
Born in this city August 15, 1915, he was a son of Harry L. and Ida Black McKeag.
Mr. McKeag was a retired farmer.
He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.
Mr. McKeag also was a member of Teamster Local 767.
He and his wife, the former L. Jane Gouldy, observed their 47th wedding anniversary last June.
Surviving, besides his wife, are two sons, James P., of Jersey Shore, and Donald R., of Linden RD 2; a daughter, Mrs. Lois Aulick, of this city; a brother, Harry L. Jr., also of this city; a sister, Mrs. Francis Cooper, of San Diego, Calif., and 11 grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Gedon's, 2101 Northway Road, with the Rev. David C. Waltz, pastor of First Southern Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Buchanan Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 pm. Friday. The family will provide the flowers.
