Edith G. Feaster

     Edith G. Feaster was born on 18 November 1918 at Brady Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of William Reed Feaster and Ida Jean Paulhamus. Edith G. Feaster married Victor Gordner in 1939. Edith G. Feaster married, at age 29, Arthur Allen, age 33 on Friday, 11 June 1948. Edith G. Feaster died on 21 August 2002 at Lewisburg Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg, East Buffalo Township, Union County, Pennsylvania, at age 83 years, 9 months and 3 days. She was buried on 24 August 2002 in the Green Lawn Memorial Park, located in Montgomery, Clinton Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.

Edith G. Allen Moon, 83, a resident of Kramm Nursing Home, Watsontown, formerly of Allenwood, PA and Punta Gorda, FL, passed away at 9:08 a.m. on Wednesday, August 21, 2002 in the Evangelical Community Hospital at Lewisburg, PA. Born in Brady Twp., Lycoming County, PA, on Monday, November 18, 1918, she was the daughter of the late William S. and Ida Jane (Paulhamus) Feaster.

She was the widow of Elwood B. Moon who preceded her in death on May 24, 2001. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Allen in 1994.

She was a 1937 graduate of Montgomery-Clinton High School. She was a member of the Osprey Congregation of the Jehovah s Witnesses at Osprey, FL. She enjoyed camping and fishing.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Hurley W. and Marian Z. Gordner of Allenwood, Derwood L. and Rosalind L. Allen of Allenwood; two daughters and one son-in-law, Linda L. and Dale C. Reeser of Nokomis, FL and Cynthia J. Andrews of Muncy; one step-daughter and step-son-in-law, Carole R. and John A. German of Montoursville; one step-son and step-daughter-in-law, Eric B. and Marthalynn Moon of Lebanon; two sisters, Mary Meehan of White Deer and Alice Ranck of Watsontown. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, four step-grandsons, seven great grandchildren, and six step-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by one sister, Elva R. Moon and three brothers, LeRoy, Nelson, and Stanley Feaster.

Funeral services will be conducted from the Galen R. Betzer Funeral Service, 108 North Main Street, Muncy, PA at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 24, 2002 with Elder Jason Faust officiating. Interment will be in the Green Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may call from 9-10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. She appeared on the census of 2 January 1920 in the household of William Reed Feaster and Ida Jean Paulhamus at Gregg Township, Union County, Pennsylvania.
