Sharon L. (Entz) Smith, 52, of Illinois, formerly of Beech Creek, died Saturday, December 1, 2001.
Born July 29, 1949, in Lock Haven, she was the daughter of the late William C. and Helen M. Wilt Entz. She married Bill M. Smith July 29, 1987, and he survives.
She graduated from Bald Eagle Nittany High School in 1967 and worked for the State of Illinois for 27 years.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, William M. of Illinois; three step-children, Barbara, Steve and Jennifer, all of Illinois; three grandchildren; three sisters, Ida Shaffer of Cogan Station, Joanne Lockard of Williamsport and Elizabeth “Libby” DuFour of Beech Creek; three brothers, Sam Entz of Bellefonte, Mahlon Entz of Illinois and Abe Entz of Georgia and several nieces and nephews.
