Minerva A. Zumwalt was born on 7 October 1845 at Missouri City, Fort Bend County, Texas. She was the daughter of Henry Zumwalt and Jemima Boone. Minerva A. Zumwalt married, at age 20, Mathew Lilburn Maxwell, age 21, son of Matthew Maxwell and Cynthia Lilburn, in July 1866 at Texas. Minerva A. Zumwalt died on 2 January 1929 at Roff, Pontotoc County, Oklahoma, at age 83 years, 2 months and 26 days.
