Whitmer Wayne Yoakum, 66, died, Dec. 30, 2001, at home, Blue Mound, Kan.
Survivors include his wife, Mary, of the home; children, Jenny, Rick, Butch and Jack; step-children, Paul Jacobs, another step-son and one step-daughter; one sister, Mildred Pike, Dallas, Texas; one brother; Millared C. Yoakum, Richmond, Mo; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Yoakum was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Earl D. Yoakum; and sister Lula M. Cahow.
Funeral service was Jan 2, at Coffel-Schneider Chapel Mound City, Kan.
Pall bearers were William Blair, V., Richard Yoakum, Jr. Richard Yoakum, Millard Yoakum, Paul Jacobs and Jack Yoakum. Interment was at Sunny Slope Cemetery, Blue Mound, Kansas.
