     Robert Greer Yoakum was born on 21 November 1835 at Tennessee. He was the son of Aaron Alvice Yoakum and Lucinda Elizabeth Doak. Robert Greer Yoakum married, at age 24, Mary Matilda Rogers on Thursday, 10 May 1860 at Claiborne County, Tennessee.1 Robert Greer Yoakum died on 27 June 1914 at Waterville, Marshall County, Kansas, at age 78 years, 7 months and 6 days.
