Fred A. Sweeley was born in January 1885 at Pine Creek Township, Clinton County, Pennsylvania.1 He was the son of Franklin Peter Sweeley and Ellen E. Gheen.1 Fred A. Sweeley married Ethel R. Sholder, daughter of Benjamin Sholder and Emma L. Goldy, circa 1906. Fred A. Sweeley died before 1910. He was killed in a railroad accident at Lycoming Creek.
Fred A. Sweeley was also known as Frederick A.1 Fred A.'s surname has also been spelled as Sweely. He appeared on the census of 1 June 1900 in the household of Franklin Peter Sweeley and Ellen E. Gheen at Pine Creek Township, Clinton County, Pennsylvania. Fred A. Sweeley was employed by the railroad in 1908 at Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. He and Ethel R. Sholder had no children in 1909.2
