David Howard Rigsby was born on 4 June 1948. He was the son of William H. Rigsby and Lilly M. Eads. David Howard Rigsby married Brenda Kay Rhodes, daughter of Ralph Rhodes and Lucy A. Bailes, circa 1971. David Howard Rigsby died on 22 January 2002 at age 53 years, 7 months and 18 days. He was buried on 25 January 2002 in the Craig Cemetery, located in Grimms Landing, Mason County, West Virginia.

LEON - David H. Rigsby Sr., 53, of Leon died Jan. 22, 2002, at home following a short illness.
He was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William H. and Lilly M. Eads Rigsby; sister, Betty Arthur; and granddaughter, Hailey Rigsby.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Rigsby; daughters, Tara Jewell of Winfield, Betty Walker of Charleston, Jacklyn Rigsby of Grove City, Ohio; son, David Rigsby Jr. of Leon; sisters, Joyce Myers, Sissonville, Caroline Rigsby of Ohio, Penny Rigsby, and Dorothy Bush, both of Columbus, Ohio; brother, Bill Rigsby of Columbus; grandchildren, Melissa Jewell, Erik Jewell, Jonathan Walker, Matthew Walker.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25, at Craig Cemetery, Grimms Landing, with Rev. Randy Parsons officiating.
Friends may call Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. at Raynes Funeral Home, Buffalo.
