Obituary for Gladys [Goldsmith] Haney--Sunday November 7, 1999--Topeka Daily Capital--Admire--Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Admire Cemetery in Admire for Gladys Haney, 92, formerly of Topeka. She died Friday, Nov. 5, 1999, at a Paola hospital.
Mrs. Haney was a nurses aid, and had worked in Topeka at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center, and later at the Menninger Foundation.
She was born May 13, 1907, in Lyndon, the daughter of James and Elnora Campbell Goldsmith. She was a resident of Mound City at the time of her death.
Mrs. Haney was a member of the Town and Country Christian Church in Topeka.
She married Neil Haney. He preceded her in death in 1983.
Survivors include a son, David Haney, Topeka; a daughter, Pat [Pricilla] Smith, Mound City; a brother, Richard Goldsmith, Newton; three grandchildren; and seven great-gradchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Manhattan Christian College and sent in care of Coffel-Schneider-Fairchild Funeral Home in Mound City.
