Aderhold married Lee H. Patchen circa 1933 at Pine Street United Methodist Church, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 Ruth E. Aderhold died on 6 February 1991 at Lysock View Nursing Home, Montoursville, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 76 years, 6 months and 19 days.1 She was buried in the Stoltz Cemetery, located in Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1
