Aletha M. Reynolds was born in 1836 at Kanawha County, Virginia.1 She was the daughter of Ellicott Reynolds and Elizabeth Howell.1 Aletha M. Reynolds married William H. Watt on Tuesday, 17 September 1867 at Kanawha County, West Virginia. Aletha M. Reynolds died on 6 November 1875 at Brownstown, Kanawha County, West Virginia, at age 39 years.1

At the residence of her father, Mr. Elicott Reynolds, in Brownstown, on the 6th of November in the 39th year of her age, Mrs. Alethia M. Watt, wife of Wm Watt. Sister Watt had been a great sufferer for many months with cancer (of the rose type) on her breast. Her funeral was preached on Sabbath morning by the writer, from John 11:26, to a large congregation of relatives and friends, and we laid her beside her sister Ellen, to await the resurrection morning.
