     Amos C. Houtz was born on 9 January 1904.1,2 He was the son of Israel Houtz and Diana C. [—?—]2 Amos C. Houtz married Virginia Verogne Hensel, daughter of Howard Andrew Carson Hensel and Clara Matilda Updegrove, between 12 April 1930 and 31 December 1930 at Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania.1,2 Amos C. Houtz died in January 1975 at age 70 years and 11 months.2 He was buried in the Greenwood Cemetery, located in Tower City, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania.2
